BAC Local 23 hosted a labor-management meeting in Columbus last week. Our contractors were joined by President Danny Musacchio, Secretary/Treasurer Noah Carmichael, Director of Organizing Joshua Moss, Director of Apprenticeship & Training Brian Greynolds, IMI State Director Tom Elliott, IU Regional Rep Russell Smith, Field Rep Bill Hulet and Organizer Jesus Ochoa.
We collaborated on ways to improve our market share and employment opportunities for our members, and new recruits.
“It’s vital that we bolster this partnership with our contractors beyond the bargaining table to reclaim this market together. These efforts will lead to a stronger Local 23 and better opportunities for our members,” said Local 23 President Danny Musacchio. “Special thanks to IMI State Director Tom Elliot, IU Regional Representative and Local 23 member Russel Smith, Director of Apprenticeship & Training Brian Greynolds, Brad Maurer and Jerred Schroeder from Leidal and Hart, Andy Wyeth and Josh Chase from M-Squared, Trent Snider from Kirk Bros, Josh Wentz from Tuttle Construction, Jim Ruffing from Smoot Construction, Jack Dunbar from Trisco Systems and Jamie Turner from Mouser Masonry for joining us last week.”

Union Solidarity

Last week, we sent out our first text to all members for Union Solidarity, focused on so-called “Right To Work”.
The name is purposely misleading – when you dig in it’s a clear attack on our rights and unions across our country. Learn more about Right To Work here.
Stay tuned on Wednesday for another edition of Union Solidarity!
Didn’t get the text? Be sure to reach out to the office and they can get you added to the list.
