The Local 23 Constitution Has Been Ratified With Over 72% of the Vote

Today is a historic day for our union. Local 23 members overwhelmingly voted YES to ratify our new constitution. This new constitution will provide our union with a strong roadmap for the future and ensure protection and representation for our members.
“Today, our members made their voices heard loud and clear and voted yes to ratify this new constitution, and our union is stronger for it,” said President Danny Musacchio. “I want to thank every single member who took the time out of their busy schedules to send in their ballots and be a part of this historic moment. 72% is an incredible feat — our union is more unified than ever before and I look forward to continuing down this path of shared purpose — protecting members, fighting for better working conditions and wages, and standing together as working men and women. Local 23 strong!”
The new Local 23 constitution makes our union stronger!
The constitution has strong support from members and leadership and was developed through an open, transparent, and inclusive process with input from all sides.
With the constitution now ratified, a majority of members will see lower dues.
Dues will decrease to 4.25 percent, which puts more money back in your pocket and this new simple and uniform dues structure will replace the old system of dues, separate fees and funds.
Thank you to all members who made their voice heard and voted YES!

A special thank you to the Local 23 Election Committee! From left to right: Jordan Moran, Mike Collins Election Chairman, and Charlie Cooper
