Local 23 Constitution: Ballots due June 8!
Members are voting on a new constitution and ballots are due by June 8! Don’t miss this chance to make your voice heard. We are asking that you vote YES for your constitution and here’s why:
This constitution has broad support and the process was transparent and inclusive
This constitution has strong support from members and leadership and was developed through an open, transparent, and inclusive process with input from all sides.
Majority of members will see lower dues
Dues decrease from 4.5 percent to 4.25 percent, which puts more money back in your pocket and this simple and uniform dues structure will replace the old system of dues, separate fees and funds.
Our union is stronger when members participate
This vote is not political. It is about how we run our union and securing a strong future for all members. When you vote YES, we build a stronger and more unified Local 23
