The wages, pensions, and safety rules we rely on don’t protect themselves. They are set by the people we put in office, and this year we’re asking every member to vote for candidates who back the trades.

Our union has endorsed Sherrod Brown for U.S. Senate. Brown fought to pass the Butch Lewis Act, which saved the pensions of over a million union workers and retirees. He’s supported our right to organize and bargain, and he’s shown up for working people when it counted. He’s stood with us, and we’re standing with him.

Don’t stop at the top of the ticket. State lawmakers and local officials decide on prevailing wage, apprenticeship funding, and project labor agreements – all of which put work in our hands.

Confirm your registration and polling place at your state’s Secretary of State website. If you’re working long hours or traveling for a job, look into early or absentee voting before the deadlines hit.

Talk to your crew, bring a coworker, and make sure your family has a plan too.

See you at the polls.
